Congratulations to our Founder/CEO, Cheresa “Reese” Purnell on being inducted into the Chicago Defender’s Women of Excellence class of 2022. She and forty-seven other inspiring women were inducted on Friday, September 16th at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
The Chicago Defender Women of Excellence Awards celebrate local African American women who inspire others through their vision and leadership, exceptional achievements and participation in community service. For their successes as a businesswoman, community activists, philanthropists or entrepreneurs, the Defender’s readership nominated them for this distinction. They were chosen from hundreds of nominees and will be joining the ranks of Chicagoland’s most influential women.
